San Diego!

We took our Moss Family Vacation to San Diego this year. It was so fun to be together for a week! We haven't seen Trev and Sandee for a long time since they live in Texas, so it was especially enjoyable to have their company. 

We did so many fun things!

Curtains!

Dan and I got these curtains from our wedding. They fit perfect in our apartment, but when we moved into our new home, they were a little short. We went out and bought some fabric from Joann's to add on to the bottom and also to make a valance for the kitchen window. Well, the fabric probably sat in the corner for about 3-4 months. I didn't have a sewing machine and I had no idea where to even begin with this project. So... I did a trade with my Aunt Carolyn. I helped her with some graphic design stuff for her new calling and she sewed all my curtains! What a project! She did a wonderful job and I love them so much!

Painting Project

Well this wasn't a huge project, because Dan got it done in two nights practically. He was bored and decided he wanted to paint the family room and the bathroom! OK! This is why I love my husband so much. He and my Aunt Carolyn even picked out the color, so I did nothing! It was great! I love the way it turned out. It adds so much more color into both rooms! Thanks Danny!

Crochet: baby booties and a little doggie

Baby Booties

 These were fairly simple to make. I really liked the pattern. It was very easy to follow. It did take me a while for me to make each one. They also didn't look the same, but I guess that adds character. Right? You can find the pattern here.

Little Doggie

This one was a little more difficult for me. Each piece was easy to make, but sewing it together and embroidering the face was hard. Here is the pattern for this little guy.

Bridal Shower Invite

 I made this bridal shower invite for one of my best friend's bridal shower. I love the wedding colors she chose: Navy and Blush Pink. So cute! You can see pictures from her shower in an older post, here.

Cruisin!

Just got back from cruisin to Catalina and Ensenda with the Tervorts! It was loads of fun! Here are only a few pictures, but there will be a video coming later! Wahoo!
