Erika and Ben's Wedding

My baby sister got married today and I couldn't be more thrilled! Ben is a great guy and is perfect for Erika. The day went so well for them! They had an early morning ceremony (8 AM) at the Salt Lake Temple. It was nice having it that early because it was cooler and then we got the rest of the day to relax before the reception.
After the temple, we ate breakfast at IHOP and then went over to Mindy and Remi's to let the kids go swimming. After, Mindy and I crafted while the kids and men took a nap.
Then we got into our receptions clothes and headed over to Ben's house. The Latimer's did so amazing on their back yard. It was gorgeous! The reception went so well. They had a ton of people come! It was fun catching up with old friends and neighbors.
I am so happy for Erika and Ben!

Cailtin's Wedding

One of my best friends got married just recently. Caitlin is an amazing person with a big heart. She is so caring and in tune with the spirit. I still feel like I owe her everything for how she helped me! I'm so beyond happy that she and Dan finally tied the knot! He is a great guy and will treat her so good. Now Christal, Caitlin and I are all married to Daniels!
Caitlin's day went so perfect. It was fun to be a part of it!

Temple Night with Erika

The Tuesday before Erika and Ben's big day, Erika went through the temple to receive her endowment. It was a good experience being there with her and Ben, my parents and siblings. We have never all been in the temple together until this very moment, it was very neat. I love Erika and am so excited for her to get married!

Father's Day

Daniel is such an amazing dad. He does so much for Lucy. He does anything to make her laugh. She loves him so much! I'm so thankful to him for always helping me out with her and loving her as much as I do. I'm also so thankful for my daddy! I'm bummed I didn't get a picture with him, but he does so much for me! My father in law Dave is also such a great example of a dad. I'm thankful for him as well!

Family Book Fair

For work every year, we get to sponsor a booth for the KSL family book fair. Chuck-A-Rama always does so well and we always have the biggest line. All the kids love us because we give out candy, prizes and free kids meals! It was a very fun and very tiring day. I'm glad Dan and Lucy came to visit me at the end. We walked around and looked at the other booths and the awesome chalk art.

Hawaii!

It has taken me awhile to go through all these pictures and narrow them down, but alas, here they are!
All of our adventures from Hawaii can be summed up with these pictures.

Laie Temple.
We all did sealings together. The sealing room was breathing taking. It was pure white with light streaming into the room through those glass windows on the top. It was gorgeous.

Polynesian Cultural Center.
This was one of my most favorite days. I've been here before with some friends, but it was fun to experience it again. Our most favorite place to go to was Samoa. Kap, the fire dancer man, was so funny with all of his jokes. Dan kept repeating them through the whole trip. He got us laughing so hard. We also enjoyed getting cool tattoos, spear throwing, weaving a fish together, canoe riding, eating at the luau, and watching the night show.

Dole Plantation.
This place wasn't very impressive to me, but the dole whips were delicious and we enjoyed every bit of them. It was a quick visit.

Turtle Beach.
It's so cool to see these turtles and see how big and old they are. Dan thought they were cool too and wanted to act like one.

Swap Meet.
We went a little crazy at the swap meet and bought too much for Lucy. We got her a ukelele, a dress, a necklace, and a straw skirt with coconut shells. Daniel got a Hawaii hat and I got myself a yummy mango. Mmm.

Out to eat.
One of the best things about Hawaii is their food! We loved eating at Kua'Aina, Dukes, and Hukilau Cafe.

Beach.
Waikiki was only a couple blocks from our hotel, so we loved walking by the beach and by the shops every night. Dan couldn't get enough of his 'beach' jokes.

Private Beach.
My other favorite day was when we all went to a private beach at the kualoa ranch. We got this beach to ourselves practically for 3 hours. We got to go paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, and going on a catamaran ride.

Waimea Falls.
After our private beach expedition, we went to Waimea Falls. HOLY GORGEOUS! I took so many pictures of this place. Wow. It was so beautiful. When we got to the falls, we put on our life jackets right away and jumped in!

Sharks Cove.
Earlier that week, Dan and I went with Jamie, Brad and Mckelle to Sharks Cove to snorkel. We saw so many cool fish, but the coolest thing was that we saw sea turtles! It was AMAZING! One swam right beneath me. I was a little nervous, but in awe! Those creatures are so cool.

Hanauma Bay.
Haunuma Bay has pretty great snorkeling as well. So many colorful fish. It was so fun to see!

It was one awesome vacation! I love Hawaii! So grateful to my in-laws who paid for so much and made it so fun!
