The Moss Halloween Party

Every year, the Monday before Halloween to be exact, the Moss side gets together at Grandma's house for a big spooktacular Halloween party! We dress up, have dinner, and carve pumpkins. I love it! One of my favorite parties for sure.
Don't you love all the costumes?

Grandma's House

For Dan's birthday, we spent the day with Grandma Mathews. She lives in North Ridge, CA. I love her home! She has a nice, big backyard with these cute figurines placed through out her garden.
Whenever Dan and his family go to Grandma's, they always play with Grandpa's old scooter chair thing. It kept us entertained for quite awhile.
First we had the speed competition. Whoever could go around the yard backwards the fastest won. It was so hard and made me way dizzy. Dan won (I think).

Second, we had the agility course. Dan set up an obstacle around chairs and the pool table. Whoever could make it around the course, the fastest won. We had 6 rounds of this because they all wanted to beat each other's records. Mckell came out the fastest-25.3 seconds I believe! Oh yeah! I love their faces in these pictures.

Sweet Grandma Mathews. I love spending time with her. She is so fun to talk to.

We had a great trip in California! Thank you to Aunt Chris, Uncle Darren, Uncle Paul, and Grandma Mathews for letting us stay with you! We'll be back!

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Happy Birthday Daniel! He is an old man now :) 27!

I am very very happy I married this man. He is the most amazing husband and I couldn't be happier!

City Walk

Saturday Night we decided to hit up the Universal City Walk instead of going to Santa Monica Pier (cold). It was a good time and a fun atmosphere.

Beach!

So while it was an amazing, sunny day in Newbury Park, it was a little smoggy and cold at the beach. But we still had so fun. Dan's Aunt Chris and Uncle Darren got us wet suits and boogie boards to play with. The water was freezing, but we went ahead and got it. It was totally worth it!
Dan was a natural on the skim board.

But as for the rest of us, we weren't that great. Especially me, I took a hard fall.

It was Daniel & Mckell's first time boogie boarding. They loved it.

Time to play football! Two on two. It was a blast! I really love to play it rather than watching it all the time!

House Update: Week 2!

Ok. So here is how the house looked before we left for California. They started on the pre-stuccoing, added texture to the walls, and had the baseboards and doors ready to go in. Nice huh?

And five days later, it was practically done!!!!! Holy Cow, it was such a surprise to us how good it looked and how fast it went!

Do you like?
Now all that is left to do is touch ups on the walls and baseboards, adding the faucets, cleaning, and adding sprinklers and grass!! We are set to close in about a week! Yay! I need to start packing.

Disneyland!

Disneyland during Halloween time is awesome! I love everything about it.
We are starting a pin collection. Here is our first--The letter "T".
Splash Mountain: I was so scared my camera was gonna get wet, so we wrapped it up real good and it didn't get wet! However, we did have some other casualties. Both Daniel's phones got wet and ruined.

They completely redecorated the Haunted Mansion in Nightmare before Christmas things. LOVED IT!

Always love the parades. They are so happy.

California Adventure.

Thanks for a good time Disneyland!

'Cause this is Thriller!

Thriller! Yay! I have always wanted to see this! I have heard great things about it. Plus I love going to dance performances and now combined with Halloween? Awesome! My mom and I had a girls night and went together. We liked it a lot! The dancers were so good and so talented. My favorite dances were the Skeleton Dance and the Frankenstein dance. Very cool dances and then they always threw something spooky or twisted into the mix.

Before the show started, all the dancers dressed up as zombies spooked the audience. They were awesome looking. After my mom snaps this picture she says, "Oh she wasn't smiling, should we do it again?" haha oh mom!

Thanks for the tickets Alan!!!!
