House Update: Week 6

FOUNDATION! Can you believe how fast this is moving? It is so exciting!

The whole neighborhood is going up so fast. Our neighbors house should be finished in about 3 weeks. The house up the road just got framed. And our friends Greg and Shae's hole was just dug last week! This is getting to feel so real now! Next week, framing!

Olympic Park

Have you ever been to Olympic Park?! It is a must see. It was so neat! I guess I went there for the Olympics to see the Luge Event, but I don't remember it very well. It was 9 years ago!
Anyways, my fam decided to go to Park City to take a small vacation. First we stopped at the Olympic Park of course. We watched the skiers do awesome flips into the pool of water. That was very enjoyable. Then we went on the zipline and the alpine slide. It was a blast.

Lake Mary

I have been missing my hikes all summer because first, I have been way to busy (but that is never a good excuse), second, I live in Payson and have no idea where to hike and third, I usually have no one to go with. So I decided to do something about this...I drove up to Salt Lake and went on a hike with my mom. It was wonderful. We did a short hike to Lake Mary. It was beautiful and it was a great day to hike! Thanks mama.

Go Utes!

Dan attended another funeral on Saturday–the death of the Cougs. Too bad. They got killed on their own field by the awesome UTES! Yay! It was a great game truly. Dan was very sure that BYU was going to win this year. And we agreed that whoever won, we wouldn't rub it in the other's face. Last year we had a pretty bad fight. Anyways, we went to the game. I kinda felt out of place because I was the only Ute Fan at a BYU tailgating party and the only Ute in our group we sat with. Troy, Melissa, James, Angie, Dan, and Remi are all BYU fans and Mindy was neutral (she wore purple). Well the game went on and we'll say in the first what? 2 minutes, it was a glorious touchdown for the Utes. And that was how the rest of the game went. Turnover=touchdown, turnover=touchdown. Well I couldn't cheer too loud for the fear of my husband becoming offended. But I was sure proud to be a Ute that day!

Our bet was if BYU won, I would have to wear a BYU jersey to Dan's parents house and if Utah won, he had to wear these slippers. Don't they look good on him?
