Halloween

My kids LOVE Halloween. They talk about what they want to be constantly. This year Lucy wanted to be a pink fairy and Lincoln a knight. Halloween morning, Lincoln went trick or treating at his preschool. Then I went and saw Lucy in her Kindergarten parade. They both are so cute!! 

That evening we went trick or treating with the Lentz's and Poers. The girls have so much fun together and went running from house to house. It was hard to keep up. Lincoln was grumpy at first and wouldn't go up to get candy, but eventually, he warmed up and kept up with the rest of the kids. Their favorite place was the bishops. THey love getting popcorn and watching Nightmare Before Christmas. After Dan took lincoln home and I took Lucy to a few more houses with our friends. It was getting harder to keep up with them and my body was hurting, so we went home. But they were still excited to pass out Chuck passes and candy. Unfortunately, we didn't get too many trick or treaters because our porch lights were out so it looked like we closed up shop. Oh well. It was getting harder to waddle up and down those stairs. This baby needs to come soon!

GG Moss Halloween Party

This year for GG's party, Dan and I opted out of dressing up, but we did opt in to carve pumpkins. Dan or I don't love carving pumpkins and the kids didn't really enjoy it either, so we will probably go back to painting them next year. They didn't turn out great either. 

We ate yummy pizza and chatted. It was good to see the cousins and to socialize with them! 

Ward Halloween Party

My kids were so excited to dress up and go to the ward Halloween party. I wasn't too thrilled about dressing up, but bishop suggested that everyone in ward council do. So I dressed up as a princess and Dan as a night. I borrowed Mindy's prom dress and Dan commented that I looked like a knocked up prom queen. Not cool. So that's how I felt the entire time there and even got a couple comments that I did. It didn't make me feel the greatest. But besides feeling huge pregnant and ugly, the party was fun for the kids. We did a primary parade, the kids played a few games and that was that. I didn't feel like socializing much.

Daniel's 34th Birthday

Dan is 34! The kids and I took him out to lunch to Zupas. Then after work, we opened gifts and then by Dan's request went and looked at trucks. haha. After we went and ate dinner at Chuck-A-Rama. Like last year, we planned to go to Top Golf again with the family. Only Mindy, Remi and my dad could make it and Top Golf was booked out. It was frustrating. So we went bowling instead! Bowling and being 37 weeks pregnant is not very easy. We had a good time!

Fall Break 2018

Dan's season ended right before Fall Break, which was sad for him. I was sad for him too. He was hoping he'd be in the playoffs and was really bummed when they lost the game. We hadn't planned anything for Fall break since we were playing it by ear with football. The next morning, Mindy and I decided to go to the scarecrow festival at Ashton Gardens. Dan came with us. It was good for him to get out of the house, but he was a little glum. The festival was fun though. We saw lots of fun themed scarecrows. My favorite was Thriller.

The next day, we decided to go spend the weekend at the cabin. We went four wheeling, went and saw a movie, and just hung out. It was good to get away!
