Fall Break

We debated for the longest time where to go for Dan's Fall Break. St. George? No, it was too far because we had to be home Sunday. Park City? Yes. It actually took us a long time to decide this. We planned to do other things other than going to the Alpine Slide like we usually do when we go to PC. So I asked a friend what is fun to do in Heber. She suggested the Heber Creeper.

It was during their pumpkin festival so there was more things to do besides just riding the train. We rode the train to Soldier Hollow and back. They had "Halloween entertainers" entertain us on the train. They were more like 4 teenage girls dressed as black cats dancing with the kids on the train. Then we got to sample a pumpkin cookie. haha it wouldn't have been fun if it weren't for Lucy. I love watching her discover new things. She loved looking out the window and seeing the horses. After the train ride, we walked through their haunted train (which scared Lucy) and then got some pumpkins at their pumpkin patch. I thought it was very fun! After we ate at Cafe Galleria (this was Dan's favorite part of the day). Then we headed up to my cabin! We ate treats and watched movies. A relaxing night.

The next day we shopped at the outlets, went to lunch and then went on a four wheeler ride. My sister and her friends came up and we all had dinner and played games.

The next morning, we relaxed, then cleaned up and left. It was a perfect, but short fall break.

Zoo!

Lucy's first time at the zoo was so fun! It was a perfect day–warm day and not crowded! Mindy, Sandee and kids all went with us. It was so fun to watch Lucy discover new things. She was mesmerized by the seals swimming around and she also loved the carousel. The zoo definitely is more fun when you have a kid.
