Fall Break in St George

Fall break finally came around. It was so nice to get away and spend some time with the husband!
We also got to hang out with Remi, Mindy & Paxton and Daniel's parents, Kaylee, Tony, & Emily.

Thursday night, we all got tickets to Tuacahn's Aladdin. And lucky for us, it got rained out :( We were there for about an hour before they decided they couldn't put the show on. It was too bad. The rest of the weekend was great weather, so it was such a bummer. Instead, we went back to the house and played games with my good friends Carly & Janson. That was a good highlight!

The next day, we went to the wildlife museum. We thought Paxton would love it. And he did, but was just scared of the dead animals.

he especially didn't like the polar bear.

On Saturday, we went and hung out at the splash pad. Paxton loved this which was unusual!

After we had lunch out at a sports grill so the men could watch the BYU game.

And then to Dixie rock to take some family pictures.

Fun trip! Hopefully next time we can see the play.

Football

There's been a lot of football lately!
Daniel has a sophomore game Thursday, a varsity game Friday and then we usually go to or watch a college game on Saturday. It is a lot, but it has been fun, especially when I get to watch a game with my friends or family!

SALEM HILLS FOOTBALL
These girls have been so supportive and have come to a lot of Dan's games with me! We may not always be watching the game, but we get to catch up with each other!
Homecoming game. Springville vs. Salem. Bummer that we lost :(
Paxton, Mind, Remi, Mom and Dad came with me to this game!
COLLEGE FOOTBALL

BYU vs. UTAH
Mary Jane is my University of Utah cheering buddy! She has a split household as well, so it's fun to get with her and her husband and cheer for different teams! This was a great game. GO UTES!

 BYU vs. USU
Mary Jane is also my Utah State buddy! We invited them to the big game last Friday. But oh man, the game was soooo boring! I'm sad that USU lost, but at least the men were happy, I guess.

Dan loves to wear his BYU bowl game ring.
Forever Aggie fans!!

A quick road trip

My best friend Ali and I have been working on a new foyer video for Chuck-A-Rama. One segment is called Journey of a Dish. We picked Chuck-A-Rama's rolls and mashed potatoes to highlight in this segment...so we had to go find out where their journey started. The place where we get our flour from is in Brigham City so we stopped there first. We also stopped to see the Brigham City temple. Very beautiful! Then we made our way up to Logan where we visited my little sis. We took out Ali for her birthday to Firehouse Pizza. Mmm I have missed that place.

The next morning, Ali and I went to Grace, Idaho to film the potato harvest. It was really cool to see the process and oh my, there were so many potatoes!! It was a long road trip, but a fun one! Thanks to Ali for coming with me!

Potato fields. The farmers thought it would be funny to leave us out here.

Insane amount of potatoes, right?
Happy Birthday Ali!
