Halloween 2016

 

Halloween is always so fun for me because it is Lucy's favorite holiday (other than Christmas). That morning she went preschool. Her preschool is usually on Tuesdays, but they had a special Halloween parade for the 3 and 4 year old classes. She dressed in her little witch costume and went around to each class with the high school kids. She got so much candy! Then After daddy got home from work, we went and ate at Tucano's. I let Lucy wear her costume there. Then when we got home, we met up with our friends, Kelli, Nate and Aaron and went and trick or treated around the neighborhood. I took pics of Lucy in her witch costume and Lincoln in his spider costume first. Then we put Lincoln in the wagon and let Lucy and Aaron run from door to door. They did pretty good this year! They always said TRICK OR TREAT and THANK YOU afterwards. Lucy always made sure to get her little brother a treat since Lincoln wasn't too interested in walking to each door. As long as he had a sucker in his mouth, he was fine. I think he had 4 suckers that night. haha. It was a fun evening!

Park City Family Staycation

Dan and I still had money left on our gift card at Shadow Ridge Resort in Park City. Instead of just us two going, we decided to bring the kids along. They were so excited to stay in a hotel room! We got a nice one too with a full size kitchen, two rooms, 3 bathrooms and it was all redone and new. It was cute. The first night, we went to dinner and then hung out at the hotel. The next day we went swimming, went to lunch and then we met up with Mindy and Remi and went to a Halloween event in Park City. The kids played Halloween Games and painted pumpkins! After we did some trick or treating at the Outlets. Lucy got a lot of candy! It was a fun little vacation!

Daniel's Birthday

I was a pretty lame wife this year and didn't do much for Daniel for his birthday. We were in California and celebrated with Grandma, Brad and Jamie on Sunday. Jamie made a cake for them. On his actual birthday, we went to church with Grandma. Then we hung out in the backyard and played with bubbles and scooters. It was a fun day. Then we gave Dan his gifts. I got him a new shirt, a cell phone cover and a promise to buy him a new cell phone. Happy 32 Dan!

Dinosaur museum

Dan and I haven't been to the dinosaur museum together since we went on a date 5 years ago. So it was fun going all together as a family! The highlights were building a dinosaur with Lucy and watching the kids dig in the sand!

Red Barn

We finally had a night together to go do a fun Fall activity. We went with Tony Emily Daniel and Kailee to the Red Barn. We took the tractor over to the pumpkin patch. Cute Lucy and Annabelle had their arms around each other and were just talking to each other. They're such good friends! Right as we got off, the girls ran right for the slides. With No hesitation they went right down them. The dads and the boys went up to the big slide. We sent Lincoln down the small slide a couple of times. He loved it! We did some apple shooting, cart racing and ran up the hay tower. We all had a blast! After we got ice cream at the barn. It was good to catch up with all of them!

Lucy's Preschool Field Trip @ Jaker's

 Lucy loves going to preschool. She has been learning a lot and making new friends. Her first field trip was to Jakers pumpkin patch. She got to ride the bus and everything. Lincoln and i met them there. She had a blast with her 2 high school students. They went on a hay ride with her, took her to see the petting zoo and helped her pick out a pumpkin. She had a blast!

Farm country

I love Saturdays. We always get to do fun activities as a family. It's nice to hang out all together because it doesn't happen very much during the week. Today we decided to go to Farm Country! It was completely empty because everyone was watching conference 😬. We decided to watch that session later. The kids got to go on a couple of pony rides. We also saw the other animals and went on a trailer ride. The kids had a lot of fun!
