Diamond Fork Camping
Finally a vacation! I was determined to take out our trailer since we didn't last summer at all. I picked a spot, invited my family and we packed up! I misunderstood the camping website and thought the sites were first come first serve but nope, they were all taken. We got lucky and there were group sites available. My dad talked the price per night down to the camp manager. (Dad to the rescue) we had a big open parking lot and a pavilion to ourselves. Mindy and Remi came up later and we had a blast being out camping. The kids rode their scooters and of course Lincolns first time he takes a spill- hence all the bandaids. Poor kid. We relaxed in hammocks, roasted marshmallows by the fire, and went on utv rides. It was a beautiful canyon to explore! The next day we hiked to the hot pots which ended up being 5 miles round trip. The kids made it to the top! I was so proud! The hot pots were cool to see but it was so hot that we got our feet wet in the cold water by the waterfall instead. After we were all so exhausted that we relaxed for hours in the rv and in the hammocks. Then we did some more scooter and utv riding. It was a fun weekend of camping!
The kids did so well at sleeping at night that we might just go camping again!
Lucys Preschool Graduation
Lucy had a wonderful first year of preschool at the Wee Wolves Preschool. She learned the Pledge of Allegiance, how to spell her name, recognize letters and a lot more things. She went on a few field trips and met lots of little and big friends. She is such a positive girl and has a zest for learning and life! One year down!
Memorial Day Weekend
After photographing 3 weddings it was so nice to go up to the cabin and have a break! Dan and I headed up after church. We took the kids on a short ride- Lucy collected flowers and Lincoln liked driving. Then grandma, grandpa the Spangler's and the Bingham's came up! We ate dinner and hung out on the porch. The kids found a homemade zip line at a nearby cabin and had a blast swinging on that. When we all went to bed in the cabin, Lincoln had a terrible night. He didn't want to sleep in his crib so we brought him in bed with us. We tried everything to get him to not cry and go to sleep. Finally Dan cuddles him in bed and did something to get him to go to bed. He loves his daddy. Lucy and I slept in the other bed and she'd periodically wake up too because it was so dark. We forgot the night light. Oh man, lack of sleep is why I don't think I can handle another baby right now!
The next day was fun though! In the morning we went swimming at the rec center, then we ate lunch and played softball at a park. Afterwards we packed up and went home. It was a fun, quick trip!

Fathers Day
Daniel is such a wonderful dad. He loves playing with his kids and loves them as much as I do! Lucy made him a few cards and we got him a pop socket and bear trimmer.
Later after church we went to visit his dad. Dave is also a wonderful dad and grandpa!
We didn't get to see my dad but spent all weekend with him camping.
We have amazing examples of dads in our lives!

Orem summerfest and parade
Now living in Orem, I had to go to the Summerfest! My neighbor and friend Brittany and I went together Saturday morning. We did the dunk tank and tried to dunk her husband. Then the kiddos rode rides together. They loved it!
That night we went to the Orem Parade. We joined up with good friends, AJ and Kelsey. Kelsey's family always has a nice spot picked out for the parade. It's nice of her to let us come! Also, I really love that Orem has it's parade in the evening. The weather was perfect. Dan met up with us after some Football thing. During the parade he managed to get dinner given to him. His football boys passed him a pizza, he got waters from some float, then for dessert, Farr's icecream gave him an icecream cone. haha. Lincoln wasn't too aggressive because he was afraid of the loud motorcycles. But Lucy made a good killing of candy!

Kaylee and Adam's Wedding
On June 9th, Kaylee got married to her love, Adam Russell. Daniel and I dropped off our kiddos at Tony's to be babysat. Then we headed to Payson temple to go to their sealing. Dave had the opportunity to seal them. It was an amazing experience to be a part of. The Spirit was very strong in that room and everyone was so happy to see Kaylee so happy. It also was so fun to see Dan's Grandma Mathews, his aunts and uncles and a few cousins in that sealing room with us. We don't get to see them very often.
After they exited the temple, we took pictures. Kaylee looked so beautiful in her wedding dress! It was a very hot and very windy day. I was so happy to not have to take the pictures. My friend Jill did a great job.
After we went straight to the luncheon which was at a church in Spanish Fork. Adam's family did a great job with the food. Each of his siblings and Kaylee's siblings got up and spoke about them.
We had a few hours to kill before the reception. Lincoln got a good nap in. When he woke I got him and Lucy in their darling reception clothes. Aren't they so cute?! Then we went to Quiet Meadow Farm in Mapleton for the reception. It is so beautiful there. Daniel was a little miserable because his allergies started to kick in– the farms animals and wind weren't helping. During the reception, the kids played with their cousins outside the whole time. They would also make frequent stops to the food and drink bar to get cookies and chocolate milk. I took a few pictures and talked to relatives, while Dan talked with relatives and old friends. After the line, Kaylee and Adam cut their cake and had their first dance. Everything went by so quickly! They were out of there by about 9! We are so happy that they are married!

Chuck Golf Party
I love going to the golf party each year. This year I was on Brad Preece's, Jack Johanson and Patty Johanson's team. We weren't bad! It was fun hanging out with them. This year, they came up with 3 new ways you could "hit" the ball. It was called the 3 T's– you could throw it, tube it or . We played a lot better that way. It also wasn't so tiring. We ended up getting 1 under I believe. Not bad! Oh and during one of my drives, I sliced it and apparently I hit a bird. Whoops.
After we went to the cabin and had a nice meals as always. Then we did gifts! It's fun hanging out with the managers and Corporate. I love working with them!
Salem pond kayaking
For Riley's 16th birthday party, Julie threw him a little party at Salem Pond. The kids played games and played in the lake. Julie let us borrow her kayaks and we kayaked in the lake. It was so beautiful and peaceful.

Cinderella
My friend Klaudia from KSL gave me 4 tickets to Cinderella at the Eccles Theater. Lucy and I decided to invite Grandma Moss and GG Moss to come with us. We got dressed up and went to the theater! It was beautiful inside. We really enjoyed the play too. Lucy does so good during them. She said her favorite part was Cinderella getting in her dresses– "It was like magic!"
