James & Everette

My friend Adri asked me to take pics of her cute kids. I have never met them before! It took little James a while to get used to me and the camera, but he slowly warmed up to me. He loves trains and was so excited to get his picture on the train tracks. Little Everette loves her lamb. She was so funny and cute with it. It was fun! And it was great seeing Adri again!

Tony & Emily: The Engagement!

Tony and Emily are getting married!

Tony (Daniel's little brother) had the greatest plan to ask his girlfriend, Emily to marry him. Kaylee, Kristy, Kathy and I helped him carry it out! There's a place in Elk Ridge up in the mountains that has a great view of the whole Utah Valley. It is beautiful! So... Tony told Emily that they were going to go for a four wheeler ride and look at elk. He got a spot set up for his scope "to look at elk"...but when she looked in the scope, she looked at a distant sign that said "Will you marry me emily?" BRILLIANT! He got on one knee and asked her to be his wife! (Well that's how we planned it would go-You'll need to ask them the actual story!)

Then...

He took her to this awesome spot, where we helped set up lanterns and a table to make it all romantic-like. We found this spot where some kids had built a fort-it was perfect!

 So that was the set up! Here are the pictures from the night!

My great friends, Jake and Ashley sure produced a cute baby! Little John Wayne is so stinkin adorable! He was so fun to photograph. And Ashley had some cool props that I used.

Anniversary Date

 We decided to celebrate the anniversary a little early since it fell on Mother's Day this year. So on Friday, Dan told me not to plan anything for that whole day. Yay–I love surprises! So Friday morning when I was sound asleep, he woke me and surprised me with pretty flowers and breakfast!

After that, we went to a salon where he bought me a pedicure. Then we went to Provo and met my friend's new baby! John Wayne Maddox. Such a beautiful baby. I'm taking his pics on Tuesday!

After, we went to City Creek Mall! Woo. Dan has never been. We took TRAX down from our hotel. He loved it. He bought me some new sandals :) He's so great!

We stayed at the Sheraton Hotel. Dan booked it on Priceline and he was so proud he got a 4 star instead of a 3 star hotel for a good price. So...we walk into our room to these wonderful double beds. haha. We each got our own bed for our anniversary! how great! 

 

The next day we went and did sealings at the Temple. Such a wonderful experience.

Time has sure flown by. It's so crazy to think we have been married for a year! It has been the greatest decision I have made yet! I love you Daniel!

 For mom's birthday, we went out to Hopper's to eat. My dad kept giving Paxton shots...of Cream Soda.

 Then we went home and she opened birthday/mother's day gifts. We printed some new canvases for her to put in the nursery.
