Girls Night

It has been way too long since I've seen Michelle, Ashley and Kaitlyn. We were all roommates our freshman and sophomore year of college and have been friends ever since. But I miss seeing them every day. 6 years later and we have all changed so much! Michelle is pregnant with twins, Ashley has a little boy and a little girl now, and Kaitlyn is a high school teacher and world wide traveller. It was so fun to catch up with them!

Camping with Eltons

We have some pretty awesome next door neighbors. We decided instead of hanging out with them in the front yard, we should go camping one weekend instead. Daniel was really excited to take out our new tent trailer, so it was perfect. We went up Fairview canyon. It was gorgeous. It was also kind of cold up there. No worries. We had a bunch of fire wood and warmed up real quick. The rest of the trip we went four wheeling, explored the beautiful lakes, rode up to Skyline Drive, ate yummy camp food, watched the kids dance to music, talked by the fire, watched Wreck it Ralph, explored the woods for walruses and dinosaurs, played with Lola and Ace, and went fishing. Camping with the Elton's was so fun! 

Burton's Birthday Party

Lucy has a cute friend that lives next door. His mom puts on the CUTEST birthday parties for him. This year is was all about dinosaurs. We ate the most delicious carne asada tacos, chatted with friends, and watched the entertaining kids. Lucy, Burton and the kids enjoyed eating ice out of the ice bucket, watching the chickens, playing with the dogs, and eating chocolate cake. While Burton opened up all of his sweet gifts, Lucy was right next to him trying them out. Afterwards the kids hit a pinata and scooped up the candy once it poured out. Lucy was great and gathering candy, we trained her well! It was a super fun party. Lucy even got to wear an awesome dinosaur hat. Happy Birthday Burton!

Cailtin's Wedding

One of my best friends got married just recently. Caitlin is an amazing person with a big heart. She is so caring and in tune with the spirit. I still feel like I owe her everything for how she helped me! I'm so beyond happy that she and Dan finally tied the knot! He is a great guy and will treat her so good. Now Christal, Caitlin and I are all married to Daniels! 

Caitlin's day went so perfect. It was fun to be a part of it!

Bowling with the Higas

A while back, Dan, Lucy and I went bowling with some of our great friends, the Higas. It was our last hurrah before they moved to California. Lucy always has so much fun with Kaiewa (who was her first kiss). We miss them and so sad that they are gone!

MJ's Baby Shower

My great friend Mary Jane is having a little boy any day now! Me, Madi and Kaitlyn threw her a baby shower to celebrate! Madi and Kait did a wonderful job making the food and decorating. Everything was delicious, especially Madi's coconut cupcakes. Mmm! We ate and then played fun baby shower games. We had a contest of who could drink the water the fastest out of a baby bottle. It was quite hard! Then on the next game, we all stuffed our shirts with a balloon and played limbo. Haha. That was hard too. Lucy joined in too! 

After Mary Jane opened up her presents and then we all guessed the day and time she would have her baby boy! 

I'm so excited for you MJ! You are gonna be the best mom! 

My Best Friend's Wedding

My best friend is married. I'm so extremely happy for her. She couldn't have picked a better guy. They are amazing together! 

Ali's wedding day went so well! It rained on her birthday and was pretty cold, but the rain is good luck right? Her ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple was perfect. 

Afterwards, Erika, Ben and Lucy came to see her. We took pictures outside in the rain. It was kind of crazy because it was a busy day and it was raining! 

I had a couple hours after the ceremony before the reception. I got ready and hung out with family before heading up to Deer Valley. She had her reception at Stein Eriksen Lodge at Deer Valley. Holy moly, it was gorgeous! 

Oh how I've missed Christal...

My best friend Christal came into town for Thanksgiving weekend. It was soooo good to see her. I haven't seen her for over a year and a half. Since we saw each other last, we had babies! It was so fun to meet baby Leo. He is so stinkin cute. 

The girls got together for a little lunch at Cafe Rio. Christal had been craving it for a long time. It was fun to have the girls together again. But we missed Holly! We all went to elementary school, middle school, and high school together and have stayed good friends ever since. Michelle just recently moved from Logan to Lehi, so it will be good to see her more often. So now we just need to get Christal to move back!

The following day, Daniel and I invited Christal and Daniel to the USU/BYU game at Energy Solutions. Well the game wasn't so good, but it was fun being there. I loved cheering for the Aggies again. Afterwards we met up with Michael and Michelle and went to see the lights at Temple Square. It was like good ol' highschool times being with Chris and Michelle. I loved it! I even got to take a picture with Christal in front of the asian nativity! (I usually send a picture to her). It made me so happy! I loved this weekend and I've missed my best friend terribly. Hopefully I'll get to see her sooner than later. Thank goodness for Skype!
