My Little Sister Is Growing Up

My beautiful little sister, Erika, graduated from Brighton High School on June 7, 2011.

She is so smart! Those cords around her neck prove it. She received an enhanced diploma as well as completion of the Medical Assisting Program at Jordan Tech. She worked so hard all year. I can't believe she is graduated from high school now. I feel so old.

Happy Father's Day

Paxton loves his Grandpa so much. They are best buddies!


Since mom and Erika are in Africa, Daniel and I stayed with my dad Sunday and went to church with him. After we went over to Mindy's house and cooked dinner for him. I am so grateful for my dad! He is an amazing man with a big heart. I look up to him so much. He is my greatest example.

Later we went to Elk Ridge to wish Dan's dad a happy father's day. My father in law is also an amazing man! He is such a hard worker and good example of service. Dan has a lot of his good qualities. Happy Father's Day Dave!

Real Salt Lake Game

Real Salt Lake vs DC United

We went with our lovely friends, Tony & Chandler and Jason & Shelee

The game was fun to watch, but it didn't last long enough! There were some bad calls and in the end DC United tied with us. Dang. We played so much better than they did.

It was my first time being at the Rio Tinto Stadium and it was so much fun. So loud! There are fun fans! I want to go again.

NITRO JAM!

Rocky Mountain Raceway's Nitro Jam was awesome!

These cars were so fast! Some of them went 230 mph.

And the cars were super loud that we had to wear these awesome head phones.

These cars were for show. They were sweet. The one on the right was a robot dinosaur and it ate a car.

It was a bunch of fun!

Beautiful Lake Tahoe

For our honeymoon, Dan and I went to the beautiful Lake Tahoe. Dan's Favorite Darling Aunt Debbie let us stay in their beautiful cabin in Zephyr Cove. 

One day it snowed (just our luck). We had bad cabin fever so we played games, put together a puzzle and watched a lot of movies.

It finally warmed up so we went on a walk on the beach. We found a city of rocks that was fun to climb on. It is so pretty!

On Friday, we got to go to a dinner cruise on the MS Dixie! It was our favorite activity that we did. The dinner was so yummy, the sights were beautiful, the entertainment was awesome. Captain Ron let us come drive the ship! It was so cool. At the end of the night, we met some friends and they taught Dan and I the ten step dance. We had so much fun!
