A Taste of Fall

We finally got to do something Fall-ish. I have been dying to go on a hike and see the pretty colors, but we all know why that hasn't happened yet. So we planned a date with Mary Jane and Parker. We went to the Harvest Moon Hurrah in Spanish Fork and took some pics, but it was pretty much over when we got there. So we went to Wal-Mart, picked up some essentials to have a good time, and headed to the Trowbridge home. We carved pumpkins and made caramel apples. It was a grand ol' time! We had fun hanging out with MJ and Parker. Thanks for a great Saturday!

Hurrah!

The Payson Temple groundbreaking finally happened! I am so glad to have a temple that is going to be so close to us! I have always lived close to a temple, but never 5 minutes away. We are so blessed to have all these temples close to us in Utah. I love doing temple work and love doing it often. 

This is what President Monson said about our temple when he announced it. He said, "Temples answer those soul-searching questions of the purpose of life, of why we are here and where we are going. They are sanctuaries from the storms of life and bless the lives of members of the Church who worship within their sacred walls." (click here for more info)

A Quick Weekend Getaway

After Dan's game at North Sanpete High in Mount Pleasant (SF won!), we took a mini vacation to Dan's cabin. We didn't expect all this snow. I was really looking forward to seeing the colors of Fall, not the color of Winter. However, it was still fun being at the cabin.

Can you believe all this snow? Wow, I am not ready for it. Hopefully it won't look like this in the valley for awhile. 

House Update: Week 5

We have a driveway!

This is our view from our front porch. That mountain is gorgeous. It almost looks fake.

Remember how it was 80 degrees two days ago and we saw the beautiful oranges, yellows, and reds in the mountains? yeah, now look...

SNOW?! On October 6th? Not ready for this.

And while we are very excited that our house is in the process of getting framed, it's too bad that it had to get delayed because of the wonderful weather.

It still looks great though! Starting to look like a house!

Girls Night Out with Paxton

While the boys were at Priesthood, I mean the Utah Game, us girls went to Gardener Village for the Witch fest. It was way crowded! But it was fun seeing the witches and the cute shops. And it was fun being with the girls and Paxton :)
