Little Lincoln's Nursery

I finished my little boys nursery just in time! I took these pictures the day before I had him. Talk about cutting it close! When I found out I was pregnant with a boy, I was so excited to do a black and white themed room and tie in sports with it, but one day my husband brought home a photograph of his grandpa and so I changed my mind. Dan's grandpa was in the Navy in World War 2. He has an incredible story and was considered a war hero. I'll have to post that story soon, I want to make sure I get it correct. Anyways, Daniel inherited a photograph of him and his Navy mates. So I decided to do a Nautical theme.

I loved finding all the decorations. I made most of the decor from supplies that I got from The Wood Connection. My favorite thing that I did was the big wooden map sign. If you are curious how I made it, check The Wood Connection's Blog here.

Other decor items:
The Curtains: I got the white curtains from ikea and sewed on the navy fabric (it was a little challenging to do at 38 weeks pregnant).
The banner: My sister made out of cute scrapbook paper that she had.
The pillows: All from Ikea.
All frames: from the Wood Connection.
The rope and steering wheel: Hobby Lobby
The small ship: from Daniel's grandma
The black baskets: Ikea
The blue and white striped hamper: Walmart

Baby Boy "Sprinkle"

My sisters, Sandee and Mindy threw me a Baby "Sprinkle" for baby boy. It was so awesome! I have the best family who came to support me. I felt kind of funny having this shower since it is baby #2, but it sure helped out a lot to get boy clothing and toys. He sure got spoiled! All the cute clothes and baby things are making this seem real. Crazy crazy! I'm so anxious for him to come.

Thanks again Sandee and Mindy. The decorations were so cute and the food was so yummy!

St George Vacation before Baby comes!

It was a fun last vacation before our family becomes a family of 4! We had a relaxing time hanging out with Ali and Kevin (some of the best hosts ever!). We went to the park a lot, hung out at Dixie Rock, went to the Childrens museum, played in the water fountain and went to the Parade of Homes. So much fun!

Happy Valentines Day!

Happy Valentines Day! We got to spend our Valentines day with our good friends, Ali and Kevin in St. George!  Daddy gave Lucy and I flowers and candy. And Dan and I gave Lucy a very cute owl backpack. We started off the day by going to the park and enjoying the sunshine. It was so hot! We got to take Ali and Kevin's doggy, Elway with us. Lucy loved walking him. They were best buds!
After Lucy's nap and after I took engagement pictures up Snow Canyon, we had a yummy heart baker pizza with Ali and Kevin. After we went and visited GG Moss and Grandma Sprinkles, Claudia and Sharon. Lucy was an on one. She was singing and dancing like crazy. She was very entertaining and had all the Grandmas cracking up. We went back to Ali's, put Lucy to bed and hung out and watched Valentines Day. It was a very enjoyable day! Thanks to Ali for all the yummy candy and cookies!

Lucy, Annabelle and Allie all got the chance to be models for Sheeposh. I have the priviledge to take pictures for my friend who owns the company Sheeposh. They have the cutest headbands and hair clips! It was a very fun and very exhausting photo shoot! But these girls are all so dang cute!
