Dave and Kathy had to come home because Dave had to get 2 more stents put in his heart. :( We were very worried, but excited that we got to see them. It was such a happy reunion when they came over to Dan's school to see all of us. Lincoln has only met them when he was a newborn. He loved them and was so smily with them. Yes!

Farm Country
My sisters and I decided to meet up and take the kids to Farm Country. I broke down and bought a Thanksgiving Point pass. Yay! I'm happy I live closer to that. I just need to get more motivation and go more often. It takes a lot to take two kids out by myself. The kids really enjoyed themselves. They loved looking at the animals, riding on the hay ride, and riding the ponies.
While we were looking at the horses, Lucy wanted a snack so I put her on the handle bar of my single stroller. I do this all the time and as long as I hold the handle bar as well, then it doesn't tip. Well, I let go to show this girl my diaper bag and BOOM, the stroller tipped. Lucy fell off and started crying, but....Lincoln was sleeping and was not buckled in. Lincoln slid out of his car seat onto the cement and fell back and hit his head. I was FREAKING SCARED. I lunged for Lincoln, not even thinking about my 2 year old. I was so worried. He cried and cried and I cried. I felt so bad and was so shaken up. Mindy grabbed Lucy in her arms and pretty soon was fine. Lincoln was fine too. I think I was the one most hurt with it all. Man. Bad mommy moment. I will never do that again. I barely take out my single stroller anymore. Ugh.

Sundance Play
Daniel and I finally went on a date. It has been a long time and it was much needed! Especially with the craziness of moving and football going on, it was nice to get away. We had the opportunity to go to a play up at Sundance with IMG. We advertise with them. They treated us to a nice meal, then we got cookies and a blanket and got to watch The Wizard of Oz. We were enjoying it when all of a sudden it started to rain. They took a 5 minute break and the rain ceased. We enjoyed almost all the rest of the play when, near the end, it started pouring! I'm glad we brought an umbrella. It did not stop this time, but neither did the actors. They were soaked. We decided to skip out a little early. We ran down the mountain in the pouring rain, then caught the shuttle to our car. It was quite a fun adventure. Yay for dates!
Lindon Parade
One Saturday morning, we went to the Lindon Parade. Since we have been active parade goers in Salem, Elk Ridge, and Payson, I was excited to have a parade close to our new home! It was fun! When the Timpanogos Football Team Float came by, they spotted Dan and pretty soon Taffies went flying! I had to shield Lincoln to keep him from getting hit. They went nuts! When they got closer, they started throwing candy at Lucy's feet and chanting Lucy, Lucy, Lucy. It was darling. All the kids around us looked at her with jealousy. haha. We shared the love. It was so fun! I can tell this community will be so fun when we get to know more people.
The rest of the day we played in our awesome new backyard with cousin Jake. They love the swings!
