Little Mermaid Ballet

KSL gave us some tickets to see the Little Mermaid Ballet. Lucy and I invited Aunt Erika to come with us. We went out and ate at Even Stevens first and then went to the ballet. It was a very different Little Mermaid story than what we were used to. I think Lucy got a little bored, but she still liked it. During one part of the show, Lucy spilled her round mints on the ground and since the ground is slanted, they all rolled 15+ rows to the front. Erika and I had a good laugh.

Spring Ski with Brittany

My cute neighbor friend have so much in common! Our kids are the same age, we love art and being outdoors, we love discovering new things to do and we love skiing and snowboarding. So we went to Sundance and had such a blast doing some Spring skiing. It was fun having a mommy day off and getting to know Brittany better!

Wizard of Oz

I bought tickets for Lucy and I to go see the Hale Kid's production of the Wizard of Oz. It was a fun little mommy daughter date. Lucy really was into it but she got so afraid when the witch appeared. Our seats happened to be right next to where the witch always came out so she was super scared and held my hand tight. It was cute! Afterward we took pictures with the cast members, even the witch! The witch happened to be a girl from our old ward. Lucy was a little hesitant but took the picture and smiled.

Lincoln's Party

We had 2 parties for Lincoln. The sunday before his birthday we celebrated with the Tervort side. He was pretty excited to eat his cake!

On his birthday we went to the aquarium with Mindy and Graham. Then that night we had my family over. He blew out candles of another cake and enjoyed eating that one too. After he opened all of his gifts. He sure got spoiled. Mindy had a lot of hand me down gifts that he got. He got new tools, a spinny toy, and a car track. He had a good day!

Lincoln is Two!

• Starting to say three word phrases. "Look at me guys"
• Imitates everything you say but does it in his Lincoln high pitched squeal
• Whenever something is really good he'll let you know. Oooo nummy nummy!
• Likes to get himself in sticky situations so he can say help me mommy
• He is a little tease! Called me Daddy all day today on purpose.
• He thinks the phrase "it's not funny" is hilarious. 
• He thinks hitting me and biting me is so funny. Oh boy..
• 5/21 Has exploded with his speech! He can hold a conversation somewhat. I love when he says Yes to everything. 
• He loves watching Moana. It makes him so happy.
• He's been singing along with songs in the car. His favorites are anything moana and gethsemane. 
• Always sings da na na na batman! 
• Obsessed with lawn mowers. I swear dan draws 7 lawn mowers every week in church. He lives to watch him move me the lawn and he always has to point one out
