Thanksgiving started out fun with making a grateful tree and putting everything we were grateful for on it. Lucy said Cozy, Kenzie and Lincoln said Liam. We went to the Tervort's for our first dinner. Lincoln and Ethan were having fun playing together. We had yummy food and after we shot some BB guns. After we headed over to the Moss side and had another yummy dinner. We love spending time with family and are very grateful for them!

California
Dan really wanted a vacation after finishing football. He was a little bummed that they didn't go to playoffs and he wanted to get away from everything. So we went to California to visit Grandma! We stayed for about 4 days. Grandma was so sweet as always and gave the kids little gifts- Toby dog and Callie kitty. We did a lot of playing in her back yard.
The next day we met up with Ashley, Jake and their kiddos and played at the beach. Jake took Daniel surfing. Lucy learned what star language was from the drunk old lady on the beach haha. We explored the caves since the tide was so low. It was such a nice evening! Then we went to Ashley's house and ate dinner. It was fun to hang out with them!
The next day we went to church with Grandma. Then Todd and Jenae came over later that night. The next day I took pictures of them. It was so fun to have a session in California!
On Monday we went to Knottsberry Farm because we thought it would be less busy than Disneyland and it probably was, but it was also the day that all the schools were out for Winter break. So it was super busy! But we still had fun! We did all the kid rides, saw Snoopy, went to a couple of shows, and enjoyed the Christmas decor.
But the best thing of course was spending time with Grandma, watching shows with her, playing games with her and hearing her fun stories. We love her!

Halloween 2017
Halloween morning, Lucy had her Halloween party at Preschool. Lucy's friend Avery and her were both Little Red Riding Hoods. So cute! Later that night, we met up with the Poer's and went trick or treating. Lucy and Cozy were so cute running to each house. Lincoln tried to keep up with them but after awhile he wanted to stay in the wagon. It was a fun and cold halloween night!

Primary Program
We had our program practice on Oct 28th. We had a good turnout! We assigned everyone seats, went through all the parts and sang all of the songs. Afterward Jacob Ricks donated donuts and chocolate milk to everyone for one of his Faith in God experiences.
The Program was the next day on Oct 29. We had a ton of people come! I think we had about 75% (normally we have about 50%). Lyndi Thomas and Kathy Whitehead helped the kids with their parts at the pulpit. A lot of them had their parts memorized. Also a special thing that we did this year is went and visited all the kids’ homes to get their parts. They each wrote their own! They all did a fantastic job of saying them. We had a few inactive kids come and participate and our shy kids participated too! The highlight of the program was when the kids sang “Choose Him Again”. It was very spiritual!
