The roof

Dan took me on a late valentines date to The Roof! It was our first time there and it was fancy! Since Dan was still a little under the weather, he drugged up and accidentally took too much cough syrup. That made the date that much more fun. We had a blast! We had a 'treat yo self' night! We went to the mall afterward and each bought us a pair of fancy shoes. It was so fun! Dates are good!

Dinosaur Museum and Ice Castles

Monday was a busy day! I like it when Mondays are busy because then they aren't so dull. I met up with Sandee and Elizabeth at the Dinosaur Museum so our kiddos could play. It was fun for them and fun for us! I think the most fun they had was after eating lunch and running around the cafe. Jake, Grayson and Lucy got along so well.

Later that night, we met up with Ryan and Laura and new friends, Izzy and Candice and went to the Ice Castles! Holy cow it was freezing but it was so pretty. Lucy loved being in Elsa's ice castle and did not want to leave. She met Elsa and Anna but didn't look too excited about that. She loved exploring the ice caves and going down the slide. Afterwards we went and ate and a little pizza joint. It was good getting to know the Ingle's.

Valentines

Valentines was a little sad at our house this year. We did celebrate the Friday before with cookies and flowers. But the day of, my kids were sick. We didn't go to church. I made a nice dinner for them, but they didn't have an appetite. Most of our day was snuggling, which I can't complain about! I was just sad that they weren't feeling well. Lucy had a cold and just chilled on the couch all day, but Lincoln had it a little worse. He couldn't keep any food down. He was so sad. Poor little babes.

Kangaroo zoo

Kangaroo zoo has saved me this winter. Sandee and I have gone a few times. Lucy and Jake love it! And they're big enough where we don't have to worry about them. Lincoln loves bouncing a little too. It's a fun place!

Build a bear

We did get to do something fun before the kids got sick on Valentines. Grandma Moss took all the grandkids to get their very own build-a-bear! They absolutely loved it. Lincoln picked a puppy and named him Pringles. He loved putting the heart in the bear and was so cute when he did it. Lucy picked out a pink bear (of course) and named her Aurora and got her an Aurora dress and crown. They had a fun time!
