This month I decided that I need to pick up my nice camera more and practice– every day. It's been challenging because it's hard to be creative every day and find what I want to take pictures of and second it means I have to edit more. But it's been a nice challenge and let's me know what I need to work on.
This is my
Week One:
1. First picture is from a workshop I went to all about lighting. That day I learned a lot about off camera lighting and a little bit of posing. Most of all it was nice to meet other fellow photographers.
2. Little Lucy. She is probably the funnest and most challenging to photograph because she is all over the place. I wanted to capture her in her concentration of playing with her books.
3. Flowers. My sweet husband bought me flowers randomly, which never happens, so I had to photograph them. Plus it was cool how the window light was hitting them.
4. Hardware. I have been doing product photography for my neighbor who is starting up a brand new business. I'm learning a lot about studio lighting.
5. Same. It's been challenging to get all the hardware in the same place so each picture has uniformity.
6. My first wedding! Lauren of Lala's Lens let me come along to this beautiful wedding. I've been wanting to see how it is to photograph a wedding and see if I like it. And I loved it! Lauren was so relaxed and natural at posing and photographing this couple. Plus it was so fun to photograph love. Cheesy I know.
7. An on location shoot for the hardware business. I love the exposed brick and the vintage/rustic look of the picture. This business will be a hit!
Week Two:

1&2 Hardware pictures again for my neighbor's business. This has been occupying a lot of my time lately.
3. Happy Valentines Day! Our cards we made with our thumbprints. Me. Lucy. Daniel.
4&5 Vacation to St George. We explored Dixie Rock with Lucy.
6&7. Cooking Kate & Princess Lucy. We went to the cutest children's museum in St. George.
