Onion Days

I love the Tervort's labor day tradition. Every labor day morning, we go watch the Payson Onion Days Parade. We have our own spot, shaded and on the grass– perfect for our massive group. The kids always get the most candy cuz they are the loudest. Even Lucy got in on some of the action and picked up and ate plenty of candy.
After the parade, we went to Grandma Nona's and ate lunch and hung out with the Tervort extended family. It was fun catching up. Lucy had a good time with her cousins and playing on the slide.
Happy Onion Days!

Kaylee Mission Call

I'm so proud of Kaylee for making the decision to go on a mission. She got her call and is going to McAllen, Texas! She is speaking Spanish and is leaving January 18! I'm so excited for her!

Jake's Bday

Jake is two! Sandee through a fun pirate party for him at their new house. We had delicious food and ice cream cake. Jake opened his presents and then we went swimming! Jake is such a cute kid and I'm so happy that him and Lucy are so close in age. They play so well together.

Payson Lakes

We finally got to go stay at Payson Lakes! We took our camp trailer out for the second time and went with Mindy and Remi with their brand new camp trailer. The first night we hung out, had tin foil dinners, and roasted mallows! Saturday we went tubing on the lake. The lake was pretty low and extremely filthy. Despite the grossness, it was nice to get in the cool water and float around. I just couldn't think too much about the moss getting stuck in my toes. We all had a fun time! Lucy loves camping– she loves getting dirty, eating yummy food, and playing with her cousins.

Camping with Eltons

We have some pretty awesome next door neighbors. We decided instead of hanging out with them in the front yard, we should go camping one weekend instead. Daniel was really excited to take out our new tent trailer, so it was perfect. We went up Fairview canyon. It was gorgeous. It was also kind of cold up there. No worries. We had a bunch of fire wood and warmed up real quick. The rest of the trip we went four wheeling, explored the beautiful lakes, rode up to Skyline Drive, ate yummy camp food, watched the kids dance to music, talked by the fire, watched Wreck it Ralph, explored the woods for walruses and dinosaurs, played with Lola and Ace, and went fishing. Camping with the Elton's was so fun!
