Our December was packed full of fun activities! Here's what we did:

ZOO LIGHTS
For the KSL party, they invited all their clients to see Zoo Lights for free. After being stuck in traffic fora long time, we finally got there. It was a very very cold night so Lincoln was not happy. The first stop, we went and saw Santa which made him more unhappy. Lucy loved seeing him though. Then we walked around to see the lights and to find the stations where KSL gave out gifts to the kids and where we could enter to win a prize. Then we went on the Merry Go Round– it was freezing! Basically we saw lots of animal lights and no animals. It was worth it!

Nutcracker
My mom and I took Lucy to go see the Nutcracker and the Capitol Theater. Lucy was so excited to dress up and see the ballerinas. She was so intrigued by it and loved seeing the Mouse King die and Mother Buffoon. She got a little antsy near the end, but did so good during the whole performance. She was so sweet to us and gave me and my mom lots of hugs and kisses. She felt very special!

Festival of Lights
We always make sure to go to the Festival of Lights! It's tradition. The kids love pointing out all the light figures.

Luminaria
Luminaria is new at Thanksgiving Point this year. I was a little hesitant to go because it was outside and after zoo lights, I wasn't about to do that again. But since it was free, we went. My parents last minute came with us too. I'm so glad we went, because it was unbelievable! They had little sections of lights like the candy cane forest, gumdrop trees, a garden, miniature pine trees... It was all so detailed and amazing. The best part was going through the Christ Sculpture Garden. The music and feeling changed. The spirit was so strong. Lucy kept saying the cutest things like, "is that Jesus?" I love Him, "Will Jesus forget me?". It was so sweet and the sculptures were breathtaking!
The whole experience was AWESOME!

Provo Lights
Another new activity we did this year was drive through the Provo Light show out by the lake. They had all their lights syncing with the music. It was cool!
