Miss Lucy got her ears pierced! She's mentioned it a couple of times but after getting a gift of earrings from Aunt Julie, she kept talking over and over about how she wanted them. I got mine done at 8 so that's what I was planning for her but I thought what the heck? I trust her to take care of them! So we went to Claire's and got them done. She picked out the pink butterfly earrings of course. Then my friend katelyn was the one to pierce them! She was shocked and I could tell her really hurt her so she came in for a hug real quick. But then katelyn immediately asked her if she wanted to see them so she didn't even have time to think about the pain! She loved them!

Tarzan
Lucy and I have loved going to plays together. This time we invited daddy to come with us! We really enjoyed the play. The music was amazing and the gorilla costumes were rad! I also loved watching the 70 year old Superfan in the front row. Lucy said she loved when Jane chose to stay with Tarzan.

Burtons reptile birthday
Burtons mom always throws him the raddest birthday parties! And I love that she still invites us even though we aren't their neighbors anymore. Lucy instantly reconnects with burton like they're old pals and this time Lincoln loved playing with Jonesie!
This year they had a reptile show. It was so awesome! The guy brought an alligator, a venomous snake, lizard, a tarantula, a tortoise, a snapping turtle and a huge 100 pound python. Afterward he let the kids pet a few of them. It was so cool!
After, being burtons party we had to move inside because it started to rain! Every year! I'm sorry Whit!

Mount Pleasant Camping
For the Fourth of July weekend, we took our trailer down to mount pleasant and stayed at a little campground right down the road from Dana parents cabin. It was such a nice campground! Julie Jamie and Kristy's family's camped next to us.
The first day we hunt around the cabin and tried out the new homemade swing. Lucy had no fear and had a blast on it. Later we went for a short ride to please Lincoln. He loves the four wheeler. He cries whenever daddy leaves on it.
The next day we did a service project around the cabin. The kids and I helped pick up sticks from the trees that were chopped down. Then we went to Ephraim and ate lunch at a park there. It was such a hot day that the kids played in the splash pad with their clothes on. After we went to the snow college pool. The water was freezing but we still managed to have a good time. It was nice to rinse off from camping. Later that evening the rest of the family came up and we had a BBQ. We also had fun fighting each other with foam swords. When it got dark, Kristy set up a sheet and projected the bat man Lego movie. We enjoyed he first 20 minutes until the generator stopped working.
For the 4th we enjoyed the parade and swimming at the manti pool.
