Lincolns pre-school graduation

Lincoln's usual graduation got cancelled of course. It was a bummer not hearing him sing those cute songs. But I was happy that they decided to do a drive through graduation. Miss Patti brought him his binder and a balloon. He was so stoked. After we took pictures with his buddy Griffin who he hasn't seen for a long time! I'm proud of my little buddy for graduating wee-wolves!

Camping in Mount Pleasant

A couple of days after Memorial Day, we invited my parents and Kailee and Bubba to go camping with us to Mount Pleasant. We stayed in the camping spots by the Tervort's cabin. Those camping spots are awesome- they have so much shade, they're private, and there's fun places to go explore. Lucy and Lincoln had fun playing with Karlee and Harper. We went on lots of rides, explored, relaxed in hammocks, played with Harley and chased after Jack. 

One evening we went fishing at the small lake up fairview canyon. Lincoln and Lucy caught a couple of fish with daddy and grandpa. They were so excited. My mom and Lincoln were having a good time playing together and Lincoln took a few steps back and off of the boardwalk where he fell into a small pond of water. The fall and the cold water were so shocking to him- he cried pretty good. He was ok though, just freezing. 

The next day we went to Palisade Lake. Bubba and kailee left a day early- they didn't get that great of sleep with Stockton. We took our kayaks and had a great time out there! We could fit our whole family on the canoe. I tried taking Harley, but he was so scared. 

We had a great time!

Our 9th Anniversary

It was our first time on a date since Covid started and our first time going out to eat. It was lovely! We went to Red Fuego in Orem and had some delicious Peruvian food. After we went on a hike up Provo Canyon called Lost Falls. It was so nice to be out in the mountains by ourselves. The hike was tougher than we anticipated, but we made it to the top. The last part was so rocky and steep and still covered in snow in some parts. The waterfall was beautiful though and so was the view. On the way back down I had to go to the bathroom so bad and Dan kept making me laugh. Haha. I laughed so hard that I cried. We had a great time. I love my Dan!

Mom's 60th Birthday!

My mama just turned 60! It is a big birthday for her, but a birthday she didn't want to have haha. We went all out and celebrated her! We went to the zoo during the day. During covid times, we had to make a reservation, wear a mask and stay on a one way path. It actually wasn't too bad! We saw a lot of animals and had an enjoyable time together. Lucy stuck to my mom's side the whole time. Lincoln had a blast with Graham and Jack really liked seeing all the animals. It was fun!

After we picked up pizzas and went back to my mom's to party. Remi and Mindy decorated the deck with 60 purple balloons. We also got her 60 water bottles that had 60 sayings of why we love her. We also played a game all about her. It was fun! We love our mama!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a wonderful one! Dan and the kids made me a nice breakfast in the morning. Then we got ready and had our home church. 

After we visited Kathy and took her some gifts. My cousin has a friend who made some sacrament plates that were engraved with the sacrament prayer for home church. I bought a couple and gave one to Kathy. It is a special momento to remember our time having home church.  Kathy loved it. We visited for awhile and watch Jack go up and down the slide. Then Kathy took the kids to go feed the goat. They love that. Kathy is such a great person, mother, grandmother. We love her so much!

Then we went to my mom's for dinner. The men handled it all which was great! We chatted and played in the backyard. It was good to be with the whole family! I sure love my momma. She was upstairs most of the time after dinner playing with her grandkids and helping Lincoln with legos. She is such a great grandma and mom!
