St. George

It was so nice to have a much needed vacation in St. George. The weather was pretty good while we were there too. We went to a lot of parks and the kids had a blast on the zipline. We hiked to the Petroglyphs and hiked around Pioneer Park. It was so fun to spend time together as a family. 

Jackson is 2 years old!

 Jackson at 2 years:

- Jack ate his pancake so fast one morning and when he was finished, he held up his plate and said DONE!

- I said Jack you’re cute. He says Thanks! He starting to have little conversations.

- He likes saying the prayer with our help. Then shouts out AMEN! when he's done. He does awesome and repeats everything we say.

- He can count to 10. He sings his ABCs although only mom and dad can understand him.

- He loves to eat chocolate chips and craisins when he wakes up from his nap.

- At church, he pulled down my mask and pulled out his binkie and gave me a kiss. Then put up my mask.

- When I ask him a question, he responds “ummmmmm” before answering.

- While putting him to bed one night he said, “kisses!” Then I tell him I love him and linger a little bit and he says, “go away”. I said did you just tell me to go away? and he said “uh huh”.

- "Red light, green light. Saw you!!"

I love the stage he is in right now. He has the cutest little voice and talks all the time. He is very polite and always says Thank You, Please and You're Welcome. He loves to play with his siblings and he is still obsessed with trains, trucks, and cars. We love our cute two year old!

Jacksons train party

Jack has been obsessed with trains lately. He loves watching Thomas and Friends and loves to play with his wooden train set. So I decided to throw him a train party! I borrowed Mindy's Christmas train and had Dan set it up all around the family room. He was so excited to see it when he woke up. He played with it all day and would make tunnels with his legs for the train to go through. When everyone got home from school, we took the family to South Towne Mall to ride the train there. Jack loved it! It was so fun to see his reaction. After, we had a little party with my family at the house. He loved opening his presents and was excited to get more trains, cars, and four-wheeler toys. He also loved his cake and accidentally drooled on it when blowing out his candles. haha. He had such a fun birthday! I can't believe he is two two!

Halloween 2020

On October 2nd, I found out I was pregnant! I shared the news right away with Dan, but we kept it secret from everyone else until Halloween! We told the kids by giving them each a pumpkin with their name on it and then adding pumpkin #4. It took them a minute to realize what it said, but were thrilled with the news!

We went to spend Halloween with the whole fam at Mindy's house. I took pictures of everyone in their costumes, then while Sandee was taking pictures of us, I said I forgot something and pulled out the pumpkin. Mindy was the first to notice and screamed in excitement! Then Sandee caught on too. No one else was outside to witness it so I just showed the pumpkin to everyone else. They were all so surprised and excited! Such fun news to share!

Daniels 36th birthday

That morning, the girls and I took Mindy out for her birthday. We went to lunch at a yummy bakery. It was good! Jack had the biggest blow out ever though so that stunk!

For Dan's birthday, we kept it pretty low key. He worked, then we went to dinner with the kids, opened presents and then I took him on a golfing date. It was fun to golf with him even though I am terrible. We had a good time. He didn't get much on his birthday because he bought himself some really expensive binoculars for hunting. Dan is 36 years young!
