Lincoln & Lucy's Pics

My little lady is 4 and my little man is 2. Can't believe how fast time flies. I was nervous but excited to take these pictures. It is hard taking pics of your own kids without any help. They did an amazing job and I got some great ones of them both looking at the camera. That never happens! Near the end, we had to do a lot of bribery with chocolate chips to get some smiles. I love these cute kiddos!!

Valentines Day

For Family Night, we thought it would be fun to go "heart attack" the Grandma's doors. Lucy and I decorated some paper hearts. She wrote her name on all of them. Then we went to Grandma Soderberg's first. We had to pull her out of FHE to say hi. We talked for a bit and then she wanted to go show us her puzzle that she barely finished. But before we got to the puzzle, she saw her door first and she was shocked. It was so fun to see her face. And it was fun to witness Lucy's reaction too. Service makes you happy! We love GG Soderberg!
Next, we went to GG Moss'. She opened the door and was so surprised too! She loved it. We disrupted her Bachelor, but we had a good time talking to her too! We love GG Moss!

On Valentines Day, Lucy had a little party at her preschool that morning. Her friends all exchanged Valentines with each other. After Dan got home, we gave our kid's their gifts. They got chocolate kisses and some coloring books. They were so excited! Grandma and Grandpa Tervort surprised them and brought them some cookies and treats! Then later that night Grandma and Grandpa Moss came and brought them some gifts. They got new puzzles. And my dad of course, brought me some tulips. Love that tradition! Happy Valentines to all my cuties!

Puppy Barn

Mindy, Sandee and I decided to go do something fun with the kids on Friday. We didn't want to go to a busy place like Thanksgiving Point, so we went and held puppies at the Puppy Barn. The kids loved it, well besides Lincoln. He flipped the whole time which was so strange. I thought he liked doggies. Anyways it was so fun to see those cute puppies! Didn't make me want one though... ;)

Valentines Date

Dan and I went on an early Valentines Date to beat the crowds. We went to Outback Steakhouse first and had a yummy meal. Then we wanted to do something fun besides a movie, so we went to the Provo Beach. We did the Ropes Course and Laser Tagging. The ropes course was a little scary at first. Ah, Heights! And there were lots of kids on it so it was hard not running into them. Dan and I went around for awhile on it and then made a competition out of it. We had to go from the start to the end as fast as we could. It was pretty entertaining and fun! After we joined a family and went Laser Tagging. I forgot how much fun that is! Dan's team beat us of course, he's had a little more experience since he goes all the time for his class. We had a fun time together! We walked around a little bit after that– it was 60 degrees outside. It was so nice! Love my Valentine!

swimming lessons

These pictures pretty much describe how swimming lessons went this Winter. Lucy loved being back and seeing Mindee. She is getting a lot better! It was Lincoln's first time, so he cried the whole time. He kind of got better by the end of the 3 weeks, but still cried. He got good at fetching the rings and playing with the basketball. Pam is so patient with him. She's a great teacher. He'll get there soon!
