New Year’s Eve

I love doing this tradition with the Sorenson's. The kiddos watch a movie while we play games. Then we celebrate new years when we want to and then have a wicked awesome dance party! Hello 2019! It has been a great year!

Some highlights of the year were:
- A trip to Disney World. Best vacation ever!
- Lucy started Kindergarten
- Lincoln started Pre School
- Got pregnant!
- Dan had a good football season 6-4
- Went to Bear Lake and Lake Tahoe
- Sold Chuck-A-Rama and I got laid off (that wasn't so great)
- Got a cute new nephew (Benson) and niece (joelle)
- Had Jackson Duane Tervort! That's the best part of all!!!

Moss Christmas party

This year we decided to switch tradition of doing the Moss party on Christmas Eve. We did it the friday before and it turned out great. This way we can have Christmas Eve at my parent's house! We had it at Carolyn's beautiful house. We ate the same ol Prime Rib dinner, told our Big Give stories and then did a gift exchange. GG got all the kiddos shooter toys. It was so fun for them. It was fun for Grandma to hold the babies!

Christmas 2018

It's our first Christmas with 3 kids! and it was wonderful! We had to wake up our kids. We read them the Christmas story and then went and opened gifts. Lincoln was thrilled about his new four wheeler from Santa. Lucy was excited about her doll and flute that she got. I tried really hard to stick to need, want, wear, read– I only went overboard with one item. We had a great time opening gifts– i just love watching the kids reactions. Later my parents came over to see what the kids got. Lincoln loved showing his car track and car to them and Lucy couldn't wait to show them her aquabeads and doll.

After we went to the Tervort's for lunch. They loved the gifts Grandma and Grandpa got for them. They had a great time playing with cousins and we had fun holding baby Jack and Benson. It was a great Christmas!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Morning, the kids and I made sugar cookies to take to the party and give to Santa Claus. I remember doing this tradition with my Grandma. I looked forward to it every year. My kids loved decorating them. That night we went to my parents. The kiddos did a little program and sang the Nativity Song. After we had the kids change in their cute PJs and then they opened gifts. Lucy and Lincoln got bows and arrows and were in Heaven! Jack got a cute playard. They also gave all the grandkids minky blankets which was a big hit! Thanks mom and dad! They gave us kids a Pyramid and a Ring doorbell. The pyramid was very special to me because that's what I remember on my mom's table at breakfast every Christmas morning. I think it was my favorite gift this year.
This year, we had the kiddos make videos of their favorite thing about christmas and their favorite thing about grandma and grandpa. We all watched them together on my dad's new apple tv that we got for him. The videos were hilarious! We will definitely have to make that a tradition every year!

Kids Christmas programs

This is one of my favorite pics of Lincoln. As you can see, he did not want to sing in the preschool Christmas program. Yes, that was my kid this year. Dan went and stood by him to calm him down and then our awesome babysitter Abby took his place. Lincoln didn't sing, but he didn't cry for the rest of the time either. haha. I had to leave early to make Lucy's program on time, but Dan told me that Lincoln sat on Santa's lap. Hurrah!
My mom and I made it to Lucy's program just in time. They were the second to go on. Lucy did great and their song was so cute. Dan and Lincoln came late and missed it. Lucy's teacher saw them and said they'd do a private show. So the whole class sang the song just for us. It was darling. We love Mrs. Brady.
