Lucy @ 18 months

Some things about Lucy at 18 months:

- Lucy is becoming very very independent. She always has to feed herself and will scream if I try to put anything in her mouth.
- Lucy almost has all her teeth in!
- She is a talker! She says sorry, thank you, shoe, sock, straw, no no, papa, Ben, Kaka, Paxton, Mimi, Mama, Daddy, Kaylee, one three, show, food.... She repeats everything you say.
- She loves watching her shows. Curious George and Jake are her favorites. She gets so excited when the theme songs come on. She LOVES Hook and constantly says "pirate Hook".
- She loves being outside. She likes to grab my keys and open the mailbox, she likes to pet Walter (the neighbor dog), she likes to ride her Minnie car, play in the pool, smell flowers, hide in the shed, put rocks into things, and play in her new sandbox.
- Her hair fits into pigtails now! hurrah!
- She loves to color. She says "color me" when she wants us to color with her. She likes to take her coloring pencils and crayons in and out of the box and likes to put them in the cracks of the couch.
- She went through a phase of saying 'me' after everything– "color me, juice me, ball me..." It's so funny.
- She went through a hitting phase. Whenever any kids comes into her bubble, she smacks them. She especially likes to hit Graham, poor kid.
- On the other hand, she loves her cousin Paxton. She always is saying his name and following him around.
- Dancing is one of her favorite things to do. A beat comes on and she will immediately dance. She loves the "La-la" song and "Happy".
- She loves slides. She's a little dare devil too. She will go down the big slides and love it!
- Lucy weighs 13 pounds (33rd%) and is 24.75 inches long

Lucy is a cute girl with a cute personality! I love her so much! She is my little buddy.

She loves playing with the next door neighbor boy, Burton.
Lucy LOVES stuffed animals.
She loves TV and movies. We probably watch too much of them.
She loves her dolls and always has to sleep with them.
She's a good little helper! Seriously though, she helps do laundry, load the dish washer, fold clothes, clean up her toys– I'm training her!
She likes to dress up!
