Lucy @ 15 months

Some thing about Lucy from 12 months through 15 months:

- She started walking 7 days after she turned one! She's been taking steps for about 2 weeks and finally got a hang of it. Now at 15 months, she is running!
- Lucy loves to dance. If you say dance, she will. Whenever a good beat comes on, she will be bouncing to it. She bobs her head, bounces and taps her feet. She also loves to twirl. Then she gets really dizzy and falls down. It's hilarious to watch.
- Lucy gets into everything. She loves to unload drawers and cabinets. She also helps me unload the dishwasher. She is definitely a mess maker. She pulls the toilet paper off the roll and twirls in it. I just have to laugh at her.
- She is quite the talker now. She went through a phase of saying "sat" meaning what's that? She would point and say that constantly. If you had food, she'd be saying sat sat sat, until she got some. She also says what a cow, dog, monkey, elephant, snake, chicken, lizard, cat, sheep, and duck say. She says hi, bye, mama, dada, papa, baby, please, "teh" thank you, food. She signs more, please, food and milk.
- She was sick a lot during the winter. I'm sure like every else's kid. She had croup and plenty of colds. It was not fun. Lately she's had eczema, so I've been lotioning her up everyday and it's going away.
- She loves to read books. She loves to read "Moo Baa La La La" and can recite it with me. We always read 2-3 books before every nap time and bed time and she always wants to read more.
- She loves to say hi to people and does it right in their face with a big smile.
-She loves to go up and down stairs, especially at grandmas house.
-She loves to blow people kisses. She gives tongue slobbery kisses.
- Lucy loves to get my mixing bowls out of the cabinet and stack them. She likes to play and stack her play cups too.
- She's a big helper and helps me put away things when I ask her. Like the bath toys in the basket. And her blocks back in the box. She's understanding! We always sing Clean up, Clean up.
- She likes to put things around her neck- cords, necklaces, lanyards, you name it.
- She loves bubbles, balloons and balls.
- She loves to be outside and is always so happy when she is. We like to hang out on the deck, take walks, and visit the neighbor dog, Walter.
- Her two teeth are fully grown on the top and 2 molars are coming in the bottom so right now she has 9 teeth. Also her hair is starting to grow but not enough! I still could get away without combing it.
- She is getting used to most relatives now, but is still is weary of strangers, especially Rick Egan (maybe its old men that she scared of ;) ).
- She folds her arms when we day family prayers we and says "men" at the end. She knows after that that it is story time then bedtime. She lays with her blanket, cuddles her dolly, blows kisses and goes to sleep. She's a good sleeper. Sleeping 12-13 hours at night. I just barely moved her down to one nap which is 2.5 to 3 hours.
- She isn't nursing anymore. I just barely weaned her. So nice! Now it's just whole milk all the way!
- She's gotten to be a picky eater and spits out most new things I give her (unless it has sugar). Ah oh. Not good. Lately she's been loving honey, oranges, peanut butter, yogurt. She takes off her bib when I ask her if she's all done.

She is gaining quite the personality and is always making me laugh. From her baby babbling to her tongue kisses, she is the cutest girl and my little sweetie. Love you Lucy Lou!

Loves her Minnie Mouse Car.
And her pink chair
Here she is making messes. What she does best.
Lucy loves her dollys.
She loves her daddy, papa and uncles.

And loves to take baths. She almost runs to the bath when I say it's bath time.
Love to tickle toes, try on sunglasses, and act like mommy.
Loves to be outside!
She's a climber.
Loves soccer balls, four square balls, and footballs.
She loves to play the piano!
She loves to play with her cousins.
